C4 anggap siasatan SRC, RM2.6 bilion kunci pemulihan ekonomi

Siasatan terhadap sumbangan politik RM2.6 bilion dan SRC International Sdn Bhd perlu dilengkapkan bagi menghalang kemelesetan ekonomi lebih teruk, kata Pusat Memerangi Rasuah dan Kronisme (C4) hari ini.

Pengarah Eksekutif C4, Cynthia Gabriel berkata negara ketika ini sudah pun bergelut dengan masalah kejatuhan harga minyak dan terpaksa mengubahsuai Bajet 2016.

Ini ditambah pula dengan pengurus dana Amerika Syarikat yang diberitakan membuat saranan kepada pelabur agar menarik diri dari Malaysia kerana “rasuah berleluasa” di negara ini. Read more

Kindergarten teacher M. Indira Gandhi was all smiles yesterday when more than 300 people turned up at a solidarity walk at the Polo Grounds, Ipoh.

The event, organised by Perak Women for Women, was held to gather public support to pressure Putrajaya to resolve Indira’s case as well as other similar cases involving custody and unilateral conversion of children to Islam.

Indira, who is from Ipoh, has three children, whose unilateral conversion to Islam was upheld recently by the Court of Appeal. Read more
